Careers

We build buildings that withstand the test of time. So we also build the team that can.

Tariq Haddad Architects is a small, focused practice working on projects that deserve genuine care. We don't claim to be perfect — but we are always reaching. If you're looking for a place to grow as both an architect and a person, you are in the right place.

What We Believe

Tariq Haddad Architects studio

A studio built on values, not noise

What sets us apart is not our scale — it is how we work. These principles are not slogans; they are decisions we make every single day.

  • We refuse to compromise on quality in any detail — however small
  • We build a culture of genuine listening — to clients, sites, and each other
  • We invest in every team member's growth as we invest in our projects
  • No proprietary ideas — the best solutions emerge from open collaboration
  • Projects that appear in architecture publications — not just buildings

Studio Culture

01

Food from the city's best

On the last working day of every week, we order lunch or dinner from Dubai's finest delis, restaurants, and neighbourhood spots — on the studio. Not a working meal. A proper moment of rest that we've all earned together.

02

Annual team retreats

Once a year, the entire team travels together — Beirut, Rome, Paris, Tokyo — for inspiration, renewal, and genuine connection away from the studio. All travel and accommodation covered by the studio.

03

Personal learning budget

Every team member receives a dedicated annual budget for self-directed learning — books, courses, subscriptions, apps — chosen by them, no approval required.

04

Seminars & visiting practitioners

We regularly invite architects, designers, and makers from outside the studio to lecture or run workshops — fresh thinking, different approaches, a wider horizon.

05

Creative leave after 3 years

After three years with the studio, every team member is entitled to a paid week of creative leave — for travel, research, or any personal project that reignites the fire.

06

A bureaucracy-free environment

No pointless meetings. No reports for the sake of reports. We trust our people completely — because trust and responsibility are what produce exceptional work.

Open Positions

We are looking for a seasoned architect to join our core team and take full ownership of high-end residential projects — from initial client briefing through to handover. You will lead a team of designers, represent the studio in client meetings, and ensure every project carries the studio's standard of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Lead luxury residential projects from concept to completion
  • Oversee and mentor a team of architects and designers
  • Attend client meetings and present design solutions with confidence
  • Review construction documents and ensure quality on site

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years in luxury residential architecture
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite
  • Exceptional design and presentation skills
  • RIBA Part III or equivalent — or actively working towards it
Apply for this role

We seek an interior architect with exceptional material sensitivity and an eye that does not tolerate unresolved details. You will work directly with senior clients to translate their vision into living spaces that combine beauty and function at the highest level of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop interiors for high-end residential projects
  • Select materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes
  • Coordinate with specialist suppliers and craftsmen
  • Prepare mood boards, material schedules, and client presentations

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years in high-end interior architecture or design
  • Deep understanding of materials, craftsmanship, and architectural detail
  • Experience coordinating with specialist suppliers and bespoke manufacturers
  • Portfolio demonstrating considered, refined, and original work
Apply for this role

We are looking for a sharp, naturally organised coordinator to be the connective tissue between our design team, clients, and contractors. This role suits someone who solves problems before they become crises, and sees administrative detail as an opportunity rather than a burden.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project schedules, track tasks, and own deadlines
  • Daily communication with clients, contractors, and consultants
  • Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and site visit summaries
  • Support the design team with administrative and coordination tasks

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years in architectural or construction project coordination
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic
  • Proficient in project management tools (Asana, Monday, or equivalent)
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset — calm and effective under pressure
